We're looking for Event Producers to curate and execute Lectures on Tap events from start to finish in your city.
You'll handle both the behind-the-scenes speaker curation and the public-facing hosting — coordinating 2-5 lecture nights per month by building venue partnerships, qualifying speakers, welcoming attendees, and managing AV during events.
This role is a good fit for someone who's comfortable working with both professors and bar owners, can confidently host a room of attendees, and is passionate about bringing big ideas into casual settings.
Key responsibilities include:
Event Producers may produce up to 5 lectures per month and this position pays $425 per lecture night. This role is perfect for someone who loves learning, thrives in social environments, and can balance curation, organization, and event-night logistics. We're looking for organized community-builders who are excited to help bring intellectual nightlife to their city.

We are looking for driven, entrepreneurial City Managers to lead and grow Lectures on Tap in our flagship cities.
The City Manager is responsible for building the foundation for Lectures on Tap in a new market—forming venue partnerships, curating high-quality speakers, hiring and training Event Manager Hosts, and ensuring every lecture night runs smoothly. This role blends leadership, operations, and community-building into one exciting mission: to bring thought-provoking lectures to bars and venues throughout your city.
Key responsibilities include:
City Managers may have up to 16 lectures per month and this position pays $375 per lecture night. The ideal city manager is passionate about public learning, thrives in fast-paced environments, and loves turning big ideas into real-world experiences.

We are looking for enthusiastic and organized Event Manager Hosts to help create engaging and memorable lecture nights for Lectures on Tap.
The Event Manager Host is responsible for overseeing the smooth execution of events while also serving as the public face or presenter during the event. This role combines event management skills with hosting duties to ensure that both the logistical and audience-facing aspects of the event are handled effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
Each lecture night will have (3) Event Manager Hosts on duty who will share the event responsibilities.
The rate for this role is $35-$50/hour and is perfect for an intellectual socialite who thrives in dynamic, public-facing environments and can blend logistics with creativity to deliver an exceptional event experience.
This Event Manager Host role is ideal for someone who enjoys always having a 3 day weekend and loves learning new things. We're looking for problem-solvers with good vibes who can think on their feet to ensure that every Lectures on Tap experience is a success.

We're looking for thoughtful Curators to help select speakers for Lectures on Tap events across the country.
Curators join City Managers and Event Producers nationwide for up to one hour of Zoom calls everyday, Monday through Friday. Curators listen to lecture pitches from prospective speakers and help decide which ones are a good fit for Lectures on Tap.
It's an editorial role at heart — weighing speaker expertise and topic relevance to discern how well a talk will land in a bar full of our intellectually curious attendees.
Key responsibilities include:
The Curator role pays $50/hour for time spent on pitch calls. We're looking for smart and thoughtful listeners who are decisive, intellectually curious, and inspired by the chance to shape the Lectures on Tap speaker lineup nationwide—one pitch at a time.
